Little X
Quiet on the Set

...

With his Caribbean blood, this extremely low key 25 -year old Toronto native's roots are spread far beyond the Great North. Ace music video director, Little X, got his start in exciting the world of music video directing through an internship with Hype Williams' Big Dog Films. "I had no previous experience whatsoever", X admits he learned a great deal from the acclaimed director. Although he had directed several videos subsequently (with Def Jam & Bad Boy artists in particular), his first noticeable break came with directing Redman's "I'll be Dat", a hilarious video filled with Red's signature tomfoolery and X's powerful visuals.

What sets this young director apart from the rest? X is able to communicate all his thoughts visually; his perception of a situation or a personality is far from typical. One example is DMX's 'What's My Name', in which he manages to capture the artist's personality without excess.
