Mic: Sashi was really great!!
Tru: Yeah, it was off da HOOK!!!!
Mic: The stage show was one of the best I have ever seen.
Fyah: Fully Loaded need to tek a page out ah dem book...
Tru: Yeah for real! Especially since dem so new in the game...
Fyah: Only three years...and Sashi keeps getting better.
Mic: Yes, Horatio is really doing good wid him money yow. Him a put it to good use by having Sashi....

Fyah: Sashi is like an International show being staged in Jamaica, it was so well organized, I definitely left there VERY impressed by the high standard....
Mic: ...of the show you mean, right...?
Fyah: Well, not only the show, but other things got my attention, like the parking...I mean, it literally took us five minutes to get IN and OUT of the venue....

Mic: Ohhhh... cuz you coulda neva lef deh impressed wid the Ashcar people dem...
Tru: Yeah...This HYPIST gyal come over and a try tell me seh dem nuh allow nuh digital camera up in the front part of the stage...AND she saw it fit to put her han' pon mi body fi try move mi...I had to let her know that DAT NEVA MEK IT!!!!
Mic: Not to mention dat dem ting she did ah gwaan wid - is some illegal shit...handlin' you AND yuh camera!!
Tru: If I wasn't a lady I woulda RAISE UP in dere! But yuh dun know some elders did deh bout and my mother grow mi good...
Fyah: Is who?
Mic: Charlene something......
Tru: ...Bailey..
Mic: No...Ashley or something, anyway, she tell me dat she is 'RUNNING THE ENTIRE MEDIA TING'...
Tru: Wrong move on Sashi's part.
Mic: And she claim that it was specified in the press kit's media letter that no digital equipment was allowed front stage. Even though, it was not specified beforehand at any time, AT ALL, EVER!!

Fyah: That's why I opted to do the crowd pics.
Mic: Smart move, Fyah.
Fyah: I coulda neva deal wid all dat hype backstage, 'cause as wid every big event in Jamaica...yuh give a gateman a likkle authority an' dem a go jus' SKY ROCKET!!! I neva have one bad experience until the very end of the night when I decided to go check you all in the VIP...
Tru: Back dere was a joke, yow! 'Bear "STARS!!" Yow, everybody is a star, yuh dun know.
Fyah: I can just imagine. Aside from dem, who and who yuh see back dere...
Mic: Oh God the list is endless...Roundhead (top a top), Ghost, Future Troubles, T.O.K....
Fyah: Did you catch their performance?
Mic: No, but I wish I did....Anyway, Tanto Metro, Devonte, Pepa (Salt 'n' Pepa), Beenie Man, Lady Saw...
Fyah: I heard she did wicked still...
Mic: Yeah, I got there when she was just finishing up. She closed the local artist section at the beginning of the show. I really wish we had seen T.O.K.'s performance...

Fyah: For real...I heard they were so wicked last year! Tell me something, what is up wid Steven Seagal and his ummm....I don't know... BIZARRE sways in career choices. I mean, dis man gone from Martial Arts Expert to Movie star to Reggae Singer!!! Dat sh*t is wierd yow, did y'all see him?
Mic: Yes...
Tru: I saw him, but I can't really get into Steven Segal...him can gwaan do him ting...
Mic: Him did surprise me still. He was alright.
Fyah: Yeah but I don't think the crowd was really ready for Steven Seagal singing reggae...SUH IT GO! Beenie Man's cameo was pretty much expected, seein' as though dem ah big sparring P's.
Mic: hahahahaha! Dat's funny.

Tru: Well, Shabba stuck out in my head...he really was the best performer. After not performing in Jamaica to such a huge audience in years, him did get a warm welcome from the crowd. Him LOCK IT DOWN!!!
Mic: I think it was such a great move to book Shabba for the show. HE IS the UNDISPUTED DANCEHALL CHAMPION of the world!!!! And I think it's the perfect time to relaunch his career to ANY degree, whether small or LARGE!!!
Fyah: For real!!! After Shabba's performance, that was it for me. I looked at my watch then at my breddrin and tell him dat, I was ready anytime here onwards...I had gotten more than my money's worth, more than I bargained for...HIT after HIT after HIT!!! The only thing missing was 'House Call' feat. Maxi Priest. But that's NOT to say I left there disappointed in the LEAST! Italee (AKA RUDE!!!) and him did wicked!
Mic: Yeah, she did mash it up. She did a good job representing Crystal...
Tru: She was really tough.
Mic: Yow, yuh did si when Shabba go down and wine 'cross the stage?
Fyah: Trus' Mi!
Tru: Him well fit!! Yow, how old is Shabba?
Mic: I read in a VIBE article that he's 40-something.
Fyah: DAMN!!! Him nuh look it wid dat deh body still...

Mic: Yow, don't forget Case's tongue...
Tru: What was up wid dat yo!?
Mic: Yuh waan' see Tru's face...
Tru: I was taken aback.
Fyah: Yow, he does that shit all the time, same like how K-Ci (from K-Ci & JoJo) always strip down at his concerts. It's really nasty. Him show did tough though. Him lick some tune from back in the days....(no pun intended)
Tru: "Touch Me, Tease Me" yow!!!!
Mic: Him couldn't choose a wickedah tune fi dun wid still...

Fyah: What you all thought of Jimmy?
Mic: Him was nice still...maybe cuz I know all of him tune. But the song him do first..."Can We Ride" was supposed to have been his first single...It wicked! Tru did love it!
Tru: Yeah it tough!
Fyah: So why didn't he release THAT instead of that boring song..."You're All I Got"?
Tru: It's so wack!
Mic: Cuz the content different...Yow, I don't know!!! Lef' him nuh man...
Fyah: I liked his likkle routine wid di dancer dem...
Mic: yeah, the dancers were good. And D-Train jus' vibes up di stage, star!

Fyah: Missy didn't perform for OBVIOUS reasons.
Tru: Yeah, that was definitely understandable...
Fyah: I heard the poor woman broke down in the elevator with the news. Aaliyah's death definitely put a cloud over the event. She will really be missed. Yow, even I miss the girl, AND I never even know her!!!
Mic: For real, it mash me up! Mash up my weekend...Mash up my WEEK! Mash up the INDUSTRY! F*ck!!
Fyah: I thought Shaggy dedicating "Angel" to her was so sweet! Puffy was feeling that sh*t!
Mic: And him was vex seh the crowd wasn't responding how dem shouda!!

Fyah: Big Respec' to P. Diddy for being ONE of the FEW foreign acts who actually took the time out to create his performance for not ONLY the foreigners, but the YARD MAN dem too, by incorporating Shaggy, Rik Rok and The KILLAH into his act!!
Tru: Bounty is like the SUMMER's GOD!!! Every show I went to this summer, ah him dun di place! I cyaan wait for the Ghetto Dictionary album to drop this month...and that whole thing wid Puff was VERY cool. Puffy was smart when him tink of dat..
Mic: VERY SMART!
Fyah: Well, I did see Bounty back stage afterwards, and I did haffi shake off him han' and tell him how wicked him was, he was so happy, him nuh stop smile. SO TOUGH!!
Mic: Him fully flatten it! Him REALLY DUN IT!!!

Fyah: Was it P. Diddy who closed the show?
Mic: The Man close the show wid "Missing You" and dedicated it to Aaliyah and B.I.G. (of course)... I was in such a state!
Fyah: That's why you can't waste the likkle time you have here, you have to be the person you want to be NOW and not tomorrow.. cuz, you never know how much time you have here wid all the people you love...You just haffi strive to be the best person you can possibly be. Life too short...

Tru: True dat! True DAT! Anyway guys...what time yuh did cut...we did leave before all the traffic.
Mic: I cut at 4:30am, and there was NO ONE there, everyone had left...all three gates were locked. Den mi go ah Jamaica Grande to drop Gee-Fus because whoever was organizing the transportation was more than inadequate in forgetting both Gee-Fus AND top a top Stage Manager-Jackie Rowe AT THE VENUE!!!... Whatever....
Fyah: That's not cool...Well, all in all I thought it was a well organised show, the bar was efficient and not as dear as last year's $100 pepsi. The food was good, NO LINES...The bathrooms were always clean...and the parking did straight. Dem goin' have to address the way how dem did deal wid the press...It was DEPLORABLE...I hear that some journalist got lick down...

Mic: Not just SOME journalist rude girl, MILTON WRAY- top a top journalist!!! They need to hire somebody other than ASHCAR next year. BOYCOTT DEM!!!!
Fyah: Why was he attacked?
Mic: I hear is some bad blood from before...
Tru: Are you serious?!! Who lick him down?
Mic: Some Sashi Rep! But the thing is the "infront of the scenes" ran seamlessly...the press tent...the internet hook up etc...but their treatment of the press was TERRIBLE!!! That was the only thing that sucked...However, WHADDAT.COM was THE ONLY representative of the Jamaican media allowed on stage during performances....AND Puffy's performance at that!!!

Fyah: Well, CONSIDERING they told you all that the press section WAS NOT infront of the stage...WHICH WAS A COMPLETE LIE!!! It mussi bun dem fi si yuh up deh, and dem couldn't do nuttin'...
Mic: Instructions from P. Diddy and Livingston Management themselves!!!
Tru: Hah Hah!!...Mek dem know!

Fyah: Let's wrap this up...
Tru: Sashi was the bomb! Peace.
Mic: Sashi was the SH*T! One.
Fyah: Likkle more...
