Yet
another Liquid, still more vibes ESPECIALLY because of the
fact it was only a nanny all inclusive. I suspect they will
become a permanent facet in the off-seasons to come - nuh
worry 'bout dat, people.
So, we reach in 'bout 1 somethin' and my vibes did deh pon
a different level looking for the fool that used my name at
the door to get in. Mi did aright, cuz that's me but, if you
reading this girlie...next time you see me, you must come
introduce yourself, y'hear? Wan' know who impersonating Da
Mic. heh heh...
Yeh
man...so dat was dat and this event was kicking - with pickney!
But you know what? Who cares? Dem nah kill my vibe. Fi wha?
I just entered and enjoyed myself, yuhzimi. Just remember
what I said in 'Nightmare's
review younguns.
Music
was great. At one point, dem was playing some rass new classics
hip-hop - ya know Biggie and Meth and Nas and ting and ting.
So I went around the back to see who was playing and it was
some young sound called Intrigue. I guess I can safely
say, based off their selections, that they will do well. Not
too sure 'bout the name still, but they played well.
Jazzy T come on and build a nice likkle vibe, as usual. Syndicate
played some nice oldies but damn! I wasn't really pennying
the music to tell you the truth. I was just trying to have
a good time. Kick back one place and is like everybody was
vibesin'... all the chickadees were loggin on and off all
over the place so yuh dun know di man dem was enjoying themselves.
The likkle dancefloor on the outside was going on good with
this one dude dancing up a rass storm, and as always, the
main dancefloor was ram jam and sweaty so I did my round of
pics and come out back to my ends..by the BAR round the back
- which was FLOWIN' healthily.
I
learnt a new trick. Next time you go to an all-inclusive where
nuff people are ordering drinks, order like 10 rum & cokes
and give them away to the people waiting! It's very useful
because it not only does it cut the crowd at the bar, but
it doubles as a good deed of the day as well! Ta-daaaaa!
So,
overall the vibe was nice. I mean, straight up, it was the
same old sh!t, but yuh dun know how dat go. What can you do,
really? If you can't beat 'em - join 'em, and quite frankly,
I've never had a problem with partaking in a little good ol'
fashion fun - standing up, shmoozing and knockin' back some
Appleton... alot of Appleton.
The
people need more $500 all inclusives. It's going to be like
cigarettes I bet...You know how that coolie bredda by the
Wortley home (Constant Spring Rd by Cassava Piece) start sell
him cigarette for a bills about a year or so ago? Then the
guy by Manor Park started, then the Deli in Liguanea...then
nuff people? Is like Stephan Lazarus & Yazz Deniro start
up this 5 bills all inclusive, then Liquid (don't want
to toot my own horn, but guys, next time gimme some credit
for my brilliant ideas seen? heh heh), then who knows
who's next. I think Whaddat is going to start one up too.

So, after THE LIGHTS TURN ON AT 3AM .. MUCH TOO MUCH
TOO EARLY.. (CUT THAT OUT! MEK IT RUN LIKKLE LONGA OK???),
we headed out to EPIPHANY on Knutsford Blvd. It was BANGIN!
Trust me - All who never mek it to Spoogie's place on a Friday
yet - run! Run like the wind next Friday and check it out!
