Excerpt from the Scary Nookie Review, Nov. 4

Hits afta hits afta hits afta hits and it goes a likkle something like this...
Once again Greg and Andrew outdid themselves with Juicey, this time on a yacht of all places. Originally slated to leave from Kingston Dry Dock, whatever ray ray happened and days before the event, the dock was switched to Morgan's Harbour which was better suited for Juicey anyway. For all those too young to remember, Morgan's was one of the original venues back in the day rinsing off one of the originators of super all-inclusives, Wet Fete. Like Wet Fete, Juicey is definitely an event not to be missed. I was there with bells on. As we entah inside... the review.

It was a lazy Friday night and the vibes were mellow but Juicey had to be reached. My parrin' P and Yush brother, PP, linked me and Jason Hart (Miami's Bambino's big bro) at Morgan's at minutes past midnight, just in time for the yacht's departure.

We were greeted by the big woman promoter Shelley "Belly" Brown at the "gate" and made our way inside. HOLD UP! Let me take this moment to briefly review Shelley's party, Fetish, on Friday, November 28th at Juicey's regular venue on Montrose Avenue. I didn't have the Whaddat Cam there as I was with RETV (look out for it) but it was great! The decorations were fab, liquor was flowing smooth all night (I got a Heineken at all 5am!) and the sound of Coppershot and Vendetta was the icing on the cake. You can't beat a $1,000 all inclusive to begin with and the venue rocks! Big up Shelley... Can't wait for the next one!

So, back to Juicey on the Yacht.

There was some alien karaoke ting going on on the dock so everybody wanted to get out of there as soon as possible! Once there was a sufficient crowd on the boat, we debarked at about 1am.

I must admit, it was quite bizarre being at a party on a boat, but I've done it before at Sting 1997's launch, so it wasn't completely foreign to me. I think I can speak for others by saying the limited head room was pretty weird and took some getting used to. But when they did I can safely say that Juicey on The Yacht turned out to be off the hook!

There were two bars. One on the main deck and one upstairs, outside by the dancefloor. Appleton was the main sponsor, so rum was runnin' rampant through the veins of many a patron. Remember this was an all-inclusive event so there was no shortage of anything, not even food!

So, we were on a boat. There was nowhere to run and you couldn't leave even if you wanted to. Not that anyone wanted to of course, Coppershot had everyone dancing up a storm!!

We docked at Morgan's soon after 3am. It was a little earlier than I thought it would be. I had my bag packed in the car to go straight to the airport for my 7am flight to Miami for Caribbean Reggae Fest. Instead, we went to Village where I hooked up with Macedon and Tyson (my Miami sparring P and RETV's cam master) and Macedon got us to the airport just in time for the flight. Pics and review from Reggae Fest coming soon!

So, Greg & Andrew worked it once again. Big up. Don't miss Christmas Juicey on December 13th. Keep it logged to Whaddat for details.
